People have been really benefited by this new concept of buying cars from Auto auction, which is really convenient and affordable for the consumers. The entire deal of buying a car is all so convenient for the consumer that the consumers seeks to buy it from these auctions, which has eventually become a very popular and very plausible way of buying cars. People can now give shape to their dream, of owning the land cruiser that they presumed was almost impossible. The consumer can buy the cars at very economical prices if they buy cars from these auctions. Consumers have the privilege of owning the costliest of cars and pay the cheapest of prices. This has been the way in which the rarest of dreams of owning a car has come true. Auto auction means auctioning cars to the bidder with the highest bid.
The consumers to avoid paying those huge amounts offered by the dealers can buy from some direct sources which sell at very reasonable prices unlike the dealers. The dealers offer prices which include the huge markups that are fixed by the dealers, which make the price of the cars so very expensive to afford. Auto auctions are not only organized by dealers but can also be held by people who are interested in doing this. The dealers actually exploit the consumers by demanding amounts that are much higher than the actual price of the car and make them all the more unaffordable by the consumer. The consumer backing off from buying the car need only make a little research about the auctions held, and the kind of cars being sold in those auctions, and then can go about actually owning a car. The consumers can, by doing so, save a great deal and also enjoy their dream.
The cars sold at these auctions are actually a collection of the cars that are being taken-over by the bank on failure of the account-holder in paying the bank loans and the cars that are being seized by the federal and the local government from people on account of any kind of default. These cars are usually a very good collection of vintage cars and also include cars which are the brand new models having the warranty period still on. These cars are auctioned in order to realize the losses incurred by the banks and the government on account of several failures.
Government seized property auctions are very much affordable because of the reason the selling price is determined by the buyer who is bidding. The selling price in these auctions is basically decided by the consumer. The price of the car is exclusive of any kind of extra amounts that are attached with the price of the car when bought from the dealer. The bidding in such auctions starts from a very low price.

You feel like it is time to buy an expensive car. But there is a problem - you are not a wealthy guy. Do not loose heart. You have a choice of a range of best deals on offer in the automotive market, popularly described as zero percent finance for cars. What is it exactly and waht is in it for you?
Offers
Almost all car dealers who offer a zero percent finance, have a sales plan in place. They will have outlined a profile of the prospective customer. Quite obviously, a major criteria would be that the customer should have a good credit standing. SO, normally such offer will be made to existing customers. New customers would be judged for credit background on several parameters like, income, location of the customer, employment or business status, or even the assets that the customers own. Quite logically, credit term is usually shorter than the normal regular interest credit scheme, often below 2 years. It will result in higher EMIs - equated monthly installments.
Terms
EMIs and duration always move in opposite direction - shorter the term of credit, the higher the amounts payable per month and the longer credit period, the smaller amount to be paid per month. Ironically, if you opt for a longer duration you will end up paying more amount simply because interest rate is induced for a long period of time. You will find that you will have paid more than 20 times the retail price. If you default on monthly payments, it will attract penal payments in the form of higher interest. If that be the case, it will result in your paying out a far higher amount than what is required by a zero percent finance scheme. Finally, cost of the car itself is more than the one for cash payment. For example in a zero percent scenario, the car is offered at say $100,000 on display for 2 years to pay having a monthly payable amount of $4,166. The $100,000 price is actually still higher than the actual value of the car. The car dealers usually know that the car value is only say $70,000 but if offered at zero percent credit, they would price it at $100,000.
Conclusion
The zero percent finance car is a good marketing strategy for the car dealer. It is also beneficial for the customer who can afford it. Whether you derive any gains from a Zero Percent Finance Car, entirely depends on how you service the loan. Car dealers will almost always earn good business from this marketing strategy. It always better than paying longer credit period. It will benefit you also if you manage the terms.

Ok, let me start by saying that I just recently purchased a brand new car! What’s the big deal you ask? Well the car does 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway. Filled up my gas tank 10 days ago (moderate driving) and I still have a quarter tank of gas left. Went to the gas station several hours ago and it cost me 25 dollars to fill her up! In New York! With oil prices and the price of a barrel of oil at just under 60 dollars, that’s pretty good in my opinion.
What type of car is it? No it’s not a hybrid, its a Honda Civic 2006. Ok close enough. Your probably wondering what the heck I’m talking about, but in my opinion I’m talking about something very important which will effect my life, your life and our grandkids lives in the future. Stop complaining about high oil prices and do something about it! That means not buying a Hummer or an SUV, but buying a fuel efficient car. Empower yourself and stick it to the big oil executives and there counterparts in the middle east.
According to Edmunds.com,
these are the most fuel efficient cars on the road:
Honda Insight 61/66
Toyota Prius 60/51*
Honda Civic Hybrid 45/51
Volkswagen Golf TDI 38/46
Volkswagen Jetta TDI 38/46
Volkswagen New Beetle TDI 38/46
Honda Civic HX 36/44
Toyota Echo 35/42
Toyota Corolla 32/41
Scion xA 32/37
Honda Accord Hybrid 30/37*
Pontiac Vibe 30/36
Toyota Matrix 30/36
Scion xB 31/35*
Dodge Neon 29/36
Toyota Celica GT 29/36*
Don’t forget you also get a tax break in 2006 for buying a hybrid car!
Maybe you should buy one? You make the choice, make a smart one. Future generations will thank you!

An all-new full-size SUV, General Motors Company has introduced
the new 2007 Yukon to the public with its distinctive styling,

features.
According to John Larson, GMC’s general manager, “The all-new
2007 Yukon brings GMC’s professional grade philosophy to a new
level - we’re aiming to provide customers more than they expect
in all respects.” For the new Yukon has been crafted with
distinguished sleek, expressive styling that brings about a new
look for GMC vehicles. This new look conveys GMC’s professional
grade qualities and a distinct design from the other brands of
the company. Also, the new vehicles present and exude more power
and better fuel economy than the vehicles they had replaced,
thus accentuating the company’s “more than expected” reputation.
The new 2006 GMC Yukon is made available early this first
quarter of 2006 with SLE in cloth trim, and SLT trim with
leather appointments, and it also has 2WD and 4WD
configurations. The distinct design for this model is that it
has a sleeker, and more taut form with wraparound front and rear
fascias, styled mirrors, and integrated running boards that
provide a seamless, contemporary appearance. There are tight
tolerances between its exterior components, and has a tuned,
wheels-to-the-corners proportion. And giving the vehicle a
confident, broad-shouldered attitude are its wheels that had
been aligned on the same place as the outer edges of its
fenders.
The interior of this new GMC vehicle for 2006 has been made to
be more spacious and more refined. It includes an increased
cargo capacity with a spacious, luxurious environment all owing
to the premium two-tone color scheme and lower-positioned
instrument panel. It also carries thinner and sculpted seat
designs and detailed trims. Amenities have been added in for
comfort and luxury - heated seats for first- and second-row
passengers. The front row seats offer more fore/aft and recline
travel. The second-row seats, on the other hand, have an
increased seatback recline angle for additional comfort.
As for this new vehicle’s safety and security, GMC has certainly
made sure that this would not be added just as an afterthought.
This 2006 GMC Yukon is made to
feature a 360-degree safety system designed around the pillars
of occupant protection, driver control, and personal safety. The
amazing list includes exclusive safety belt pretensioners that
are linked to sensors for rear-end crashes, and have been
integrated into a stronger vehicle structure that is also
designed for improved compatibility with other vehicles. This
helps out in protecting those people that are either inside or
outside of the vehicle, during or after a crash. Also, these
pretensioner sensors has the ability to trigger the front seat
pretensioners during a rear-end collision, so as to hold the
occupants firmly in place and thus help prevent any kind
whiplash injury.

When I was a kid I was well into my cars, I loved cruising around in my small engined lexus and Generally messing about cars. I spent years learning mechanics and how to fix up used cars, I would spend Saturday trawling through the used cars for sale pages of the paper and buying small cars, doing them up and selling them on. This works pretty damn well, I have probably done this process over 50 times, starting with cars in west wales then upscaling to doing cars within 100 miles - It was a busy few years but I made a good killing from the used car fixing process. Its calming too doing mechanics, just pissing about with oil spanners and parts. Fixing new break pads, doing the basics. Its been tempting recently to rejuvenate an old classic…but maybe thats a bit of a big process.

Are you selling your used car? If its a non-runner no doubt you have probably thought about selling it to a trade dismantler like tanygroes car dismantlers or similar. You can typically expect to get £200-500 for a car that is sent to be dismantled which can be a lot more than you get for taking it to a local garage as part exchange - unless its a runner then it probably is not a good idea for you!

• Salesmen are more willing to haggle prices to close the deal when in the holiday season, as most people are too busy to think about buying a car at that time.
• Another time that is the best for getting a good deal is the period from July to October. Dealerships are trying to get rid of their inventory to make way for the new year models.
• Do some research online, and get some quotes - optimally along with some good rebates or incentives. Print out your results from the lowest quotes and bring it with you to your local dealer. Showing them the lower quotes might compel them to give you a better deal. If not, shop around some more.
• Visit FightingChance.com - This site has great advice, as well as incentives and rebate offers. You may be able to save thousands of dollars on your car purchase.
• A good tactic is to bring a copy of your credit score with you to the dealership. It can lower your interest rates on your car loan.
• Be suspicious of any ‘bait and switch’ tactics, such as some odd change that occurred after you initially discussed the car with the dealer. Some unscrupulous dealers will use your preference for a particular car as leverage in convincing you to stay with your choice; although, unfortunately there has been some ‘unforseen’ change in the price or deal you originally discussed. Stick to your guns and remind them that is not what was agreed. If they don’t back down,or at least give you a concession, then it is up to you if you want to accept the difference.
• A rule of thumb is to never wait until your car is broken down and you are desperate - not only are you not thinking as clearly at a time like that, but the salesman may sense your desperation and take advantage of you. On such a major decision, try to force yourself to take action when you realize your car has issues, but while it is still running.
• Do your research before going in and subjecting yourself to high-pressure tactics. Don’t fall for any deals where you are required to make an on the spot decision. This is a big commitment and you need to be on top of the game.

For weeks I have been fighting the insurance company trying to get my name clear - I never even crashed my car but they got it all wrong! I have also been helping my Nan who lives in aberystwyth find a new car, Its hard enough finding a secondhand car in Aberystwyth without being restrained by its age. She wants something less than 2 years old, I suggested something german like an audi a3, but she is into nissan micras - I suppose its her choice.
So I went around aberystwyth for a day, but couldnt find a decent motor. Finding it online seemed to be the best option, so I am now going to spend this evening chasing down a used car in aberystwyth - what fun!!!!

Damaged Cars (salvage) can be shocking to look at - shattered windscreen’s, bent suspension - missing front wings or scratched sidepanels. I find myself oddly attracted to looking at salvage, when I see it on a car website I often stop to take a look - you can often tell which are the safe cars to drive - by looking at what isn’t messed up completely - damaged salvage.
For instance I have recently noticed a huge amount of newish french cars that have been involved in accidents that land them on thier roof - mazda’s seem to do ok I dont know that many mazda breakers. Ncap 5 or not I still don’t like the odds.
It is generally true the newer the car the safer it is - unless you buy a tvr or similar
- Whether you like cars, have a brand new motor or are looking to buy - checking out salvage damaged cars is always kinda bad fun.
