ACTION PLAN FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE FINANCING OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR
Given the current economic crisis, and in response to requests of Agricultural Organisations in injecting liquidity into the system and facilitate the refinancing of existing debt of the sector, the Ministry of Rural Environment and Marine offered the creation of several tables Work, including the one intended to consider the adoption of appropriate instruments to improve the financial situation of the agricultural sector.The agricultural sector financing by credit institutions is a key element in the development of this strategic sector of the Spanish economy. Access to capital is the impetus for the proper conduct of the factors labor and technology, whose competitiveness has a decisive impact in improving farm incomes. This action plan has been developed to improve in these complex moments from the financial point of view, access to credit for farmers and ranchers.The objectives of the Plan of Measures for Improving the Agricultural Sector Finance are:
- To provide agriculture and livestock access to public funding and private.
- Liquidity for the endowment of capital in those sectors.
- Improving credit conditions of the financing and formalized by the sector.
Within the Communication Plan of Action Financing Plan designed by the MARM, April 13 held a Day of Training for Trainers to the representatives of the provincial agricultural trade organizations and representatives of Industrial Organizations. At the same Day, the Ministry took the opportunity to remind the OPAs the need for additional efforts and stressed at work and joint responsibility that all stakeholders have in their outreach plan measures for reaching their real actors, farmers and ranchers.To that end, following are the presentations used in the Day which together with the document “Presentation of the Plan of Measures for Improving the Agricultural Sector Finance” make the necessary material for technical assistants takeover bids replicate similar days, at the local level with all partners.
